A salary is an amount of money paid by an employer to an individual, usually in an employment agreement. While some employers do not allow their salaried employees to earn more money than they are already earning, many allow their salaried employees to earn up to one hundred dollars more per month. Certain employees are not entitled to any form of bonus or overtime pay. These include executive-level managers, senior supervisors, and managers of specialized departments or units.
